    Default Paris street map

Just discovered your site and really love it. Can you recommend a site where I can download a Paris street map? I'd like to compare the street map and the Metro map so that I can choose a hotel for my upcoming trip.

    Thank you.

    Hi Elyse,

Actually, if you check out [urlnf=http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=paris,+france&ie=UTF8&ll =48.856668,2.350988&spn=0.016631,0.04549&z=15:38jo zz4x]Paris on Google Maps[/urlnf:38jozz4x], you'll see Metro and RER stations on the map. By clicking on the actual station symbols you'll also see which Metro or RER lines the stations are connected to.

I've been meaning to post an article about a good way to find hotels with a good price-quality ratio that are also close to Metro stations. My idea on this is to first find well regarded/well reviewed hotels on [urlnf=http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g187147-Paris_Ile_de_France-Hotels.html:38jozz4x]TripAdvisor.com[/urlnf:38jozz4x], then using a metro trip planner to find your way to the hotel.

Thanks for the kind words about Paris by Train. I really hope it helps visitors find their way around the city.

    Best regards,
