Question Rush hour or do I avoid it at all costs?

I have to get from Sentier or Reaumur Sebastopol to Gare de Lyon by 9 am in beginning of May. Not only will I have to travel in the rush hour but I have to change at Les Halles! How much time should I allow to get to Gare de Lyon or would it be better just to take a later train to avoid the rush hour altogether. There have been so many off putting stories about Les Halles! I have used the London Underground guess it must be similar. Any advice would be useful. Perhaps walk lol!

    Hi Jenny,

Walking takes 22 minutes from Sentier to Gare du Nord. Reaumur Sebastapol to Gare du Nord on Metro Line 4 is a direct train taking about 9 minutes or walking in about 20 minutes.

    Best regards,
    Ben
