    Default Time Frame

My wife and I will be in Paris the first week in March. How much time should we allow from arriving at the Montparsse Metro stop to get to the trains?

It's difficult to give you a time frame for this transfer from the Bienvenue Station (Metro) to Gare Montparnasse (Train). Moving sidewalks facilitate this transfer but you have to consider time of day, do you have your train tickets in-hand or have to purchase them at Gare Montparnasse. At least one hour would be my estimate if you have your train tickets. I'm always overly cautious!

Thanks, Frank. We will have our tickets in hand. I was thinking about 30 minutes, but will allow a little more than that...perhaps an hour. Our train for Chartres leaves at 10AM, and I thought it would be extra busy at that time. Thanks again for the perspective.
