New member, great web page, we will be heading to Paris in about 4 weeks, we will be coming into the Gare du Nord, I under stand that the machines will not sell 3 day passes, zones 1-3, where can I get them when I get to the station?

You can't buy Paris Visite 3 day passes from machines... they are only sold at ticket windows for Transilien or RATP (not TGV/Grandes Lignes ticket windows).

Check out the Gare du Nord photo tour and search for the word "Transilien" and you'll see a photo of the ticket booth you can buy the Paris Visite passes at. If the line-up is huge at this ticket booth, you can descend onto the Metro/RER level and use one of the ticket booths there. Check out the two last photos on that photo tour page: there are ticket booths beside the turnstiles and beside the ticket vending machines.
